The best alternative in this case would be brown rice, which is full of fibre, vitamins and nutrients that will allow nourish your body without any unwanted weight gain.
5. High fructose corn syrup
This one applies to just about everyone, as high fructose corn syrup, found in a number of common snacks and processed food such as soda, is extremely harmful for health. For pregnant women in particular, there is compelling evidence that these foods can make you gain extra weight and even stimulate a craving for sugary foods.
