4 Best Exercises To Increase Height

We cannot dispute the fact that there are some individuals willing to do anything to grow taller than they are. Also, many of us understand how much effect the height of a person can be to his/her personality.

Start off by lying on your back, with your shoulders and arms firmly on the floor. Then, bend your knees and pull your feet closer to your buttocks till you no longer can. With arms still on the floor, arch your back with pelvis raised. Remain in this position for some seconds.

2. Hopping with one leg

This exercise can be done anywhere, and saves you a lot of time because you can do it alongside other things, like watching the TV, playing in the park, talking with a friend, etc. Assume a standing position, with hands raised. Then, you’ll have to decide which leg you want to begin with. If it’s the left, then your right leg should be bent upwards while you hop on your left leg for about eight times, with hands pointing towards the sky. After which you can alternate to the right and keep repeating the process.

Asides strengthening the legs and generating growth hormones, it also has an additional benefit of brain development

3. Forward spine stretch

This exercise practically helps in stretching the whole spine, especially the neck and upper back. Sit on a mat with feet outstretched and extend legs until they are some width apart. Inhale and extend your hands in front of you, while you try to touch the tips of your toes. This could be really difficult at first try but as time goes by, you’ll become accustomed with it.

While you try to reach your toes, ensure that your body is fully bent from the waist and not the shoulders, for proper effectiveness. This exercise helps to stretch the spine and promote growth hormone, which will cause an increment in height

4. Cat stretch

The cat stretch exercise helps to open the spine and strengthen a larger part of the upper limb. It also stretches the hamstrings and helps greatly in blood circulation.

Start with a kneeling position and place your hands face-down on the floor, with arms locked out. Inhale, while you flex your spine down, and exhale while you bring your spine up to an arched position with head lowered down. At this point, the spine should be arched, with shoulders high, and elbows straight. Remain in that position for some seconds before repeating the process.
